Mullein is a striking, easy to identify plant with large, densely furred leaves and a tall, stately flowering stalk. Because of its thick, soft leaves, it is also called Grandmother's Flannel and Our Lady's Flannel. Mullein is usually drunk as a tea, and some nutrients are extracted from part of the plant through hot water. Our Mullein Leaf Tea offers a refreshing and subtly sweet herbal flavor, and it is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
Mullein is the name for any of the over three hundred species of the genus Verbascum, which are large biennial or perennial herbs native to northern temperate regions, especially eastern Eurasia.
Common mullein (Verbascum thapsus) grows up to seven feet tall and has a single stem with large, thick, velvety leaves and pale-yellow, slightly irregular flowers. This is the type that you will most commonly find in stores.
Sometimes the plant is referred to as Aaron’s rod because of it’s tall with yellow flowers.
Mullein leaf can be used to make a nourishing tea that’s been used in folk medicine. You can buy mullein leaf tea at your local grocery or health store, or you can make your own at home.
Drinking tea from this yellow flowered plant helps to relieve issues like sore throat, cough, colds, hoarseness and bronchitis. Some even use it to ease digestive complains like diarrhea and joint pain.
To make the tea, the leaves are simply simmered in boiling water and then strained.
Research on the plant shows that it contains flavonoids, saponins, tannins, terpenoids, glycosides, carbohydrates, proteins, fats and oils.
It also contains approximately 3 percent mucilage, which is thought to be responsible for the soothing actions that the herb has on the body’s mucous membranes. Mullein’s saponins are believed to be the explanation for the herb’s expectorant actions.
We only choose high-quality mullein plants as the raw materials, ensuring that you can enjoy the real flavor of joyful nature!

Bought this tea for my husband as a more affordable option after he quit smoking. Mullein very effective and gentle on lungs. He started using it about every day and just after the first week, he told me he felt a complete difference in his breathing. So far, so good!
After battling bronchitis, I was looking for a gentle but effective solution. The Mullein Tea exceeded my expectations. It eased my symptoms, and I continue to enjoy it daily for my ongoing respiratory support.
Long time purchaser.
This tea was even better than i expected. I ordered this because of its benifits for respiratory health. I was pleasantly surprised by its good flavor. I added lemon or stevia to it. I would recommend it to everyone.

I love drinking mullein leaf tea before bed. I add lemon, mint, and a touch of honey, and it's the perfect combination of relaxing and refreshing. I've noticed that the tea helps to clear up my lungs, especially when I drink it consistently. To complement my tea routine, I often take the Mullein Drops. The combination of the tea and drops has been really helpful in supporting my respiratory health. I appreciate that mullein leaf is a natural way to support lung health, and I prefer to use it instead of relying on medications. The tea is easy to make, and I love the taste and aroma. Plus, the addition of lemon and mint makes it even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend mullein leaf tea for anyone who wants to support their respiratory health naturally. It's a relaxing and delicious way to take care of yourself.
I added some lemon juice or honey for taste and it was magnificent. I instantly noticed the mucus breaking up in my chest and throat. Been using for a few days now and noticed fairly large difference in my breathing being easier and calmer.
This was one that i have been wanted to try and I have to say that it didnt disappoint me....will buy again
Mild taste. Eases breathing, in my opinion. Just great.

I have used mullein for a long time to help with lung issues. If something starts to cause my lungs to be congested, I start right away to take mullein and it clears up in a few days. Flavor is mullein. I don't mind it because I have used it for a long time, but if you are sensitive to grassy herby flavors, you might want to add honey and lemon to it. You could also blend it with some lemongrass tea or something that will compliment and flavor it nicely. DOES IT WORK? Making this tea a few times a day in cases of lung issues has worked great so far. It is handy to have them in this form because if I need to go somewhere, I can tuck a few in a zipper topped small plastic bag and slip it into my purse. That way I can have it while out. Bottom line is an excellent way to have mullein tea handy. It helps a lot with lung issues. My rating is five stars. I have been wanting a pure mullein tea to have on hand in bags and this is just what I was looking for. It is essential to have on hand during seasons of congestion in the lungs. It is amazing how nicely it helps return them to normal.
I love the taste of herbal tea, but I also think that it's important to keep Medicinal herbs on hand as well. Mullein is great for your lung health. It's an expectorant so it helps to break up congestion and remove it from your body. It also helps to soothe your mucus membranes so it's great for a sore throat or a non productive, hacking cough. The set contains 30 tea bags, but I used each one twice for a total of 60 cups. The flavor is a little grassy like a cross between lemon balm and green tea. I love it on its own, but you can also add a bit of honey, sugar or mint extract to flavor it. It's naturally caffeine free so you can drink it at any time without having to worry about it affecting your sleep. They come in a ziplock bag so they stay fresh, but easily accessible.
I've had COPD for about 8 years now. This is an earthy tasting tea that I drink daily. It helps to open up my lungs a lot better and thins the mucus. I use it as part of my daily routine and I love it. I'll put either some lemon or honey in it and it works wonders. Swear by it!
